A Moment to Pause
A Special Solstice Ceremony for Mamas
Dear Mama,
Something special happens on the Summer Solstice.
The sun lingers at its peak, the longest and most luminous day of the year. And then, slowly, beautifully... it begins to soften.
This is the moment we gather. Not to rush. Not to perform. But to arrive in nature, in stillness, in each other's company, and to let the longest day hold us for just a little while.
Join me at the edge of the gorgeous Lough Bray in the Dublin Mountains for an evening ceremony unlike anything else. We will move, we will breathe, we will let go and yes, we will absolutely be getting in that lake.
(It's Ireland. She's cold. She's glorious. You won't regret it.)
What We'll Do Together
An intimate evening unfolding in the magic of the longest dusk:
A short walk to settle into the landscape and leave the day behind
Meditation, dropping in, landing, exhaling all the things
Nature embodiment, letting the mountain do what it does (it really does something)
Release ceremony, journalling what no longer serves you, then burning it in the fire. Yes, literally. Watched it turn to ash and felt lighter? That's the plan.
Lake dip / swim, the ultimate reset. Cold, clear, alive.
Hot chocolate and tea to warm up and come back to earth
Honest and open mama chats in the oncoming dusk, because some of the best conversations happen when the world goes golden and quiet.

Why Solstice? Why Now?
The solstice is a threshold.
The peak of light and the turning point. After tonight, the days begin to shorten, slowly, gently. And there is something ancient and wise about marking that. About pausing at the height of the year and asking: what do I want to carry forward, and what am I finally ready to put down?
As mothers, we carry A LOT. This is your invitation to set some of it on fire. Figuratively. Also literally.
