A Moment to Pause

A Special Solstice Ceremony for Mamas

Dear Mama,

Something special happens on the Summer Solstice.

I think so anyway.

The sun lingers on the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. And slowly, without me even realising, the light changes, shades morphing into different hues…

At the Solstice, this moment seems to last for hours. It’s breathtaking to experience, to actually sit in it.

So that’s when we gather. Not to perform anything. To arrive in nature, in stillness, in each other's company, and most importantly, within ourselves.

So come join me at the edge of the gorgeous Lough Bray in the Dublin Mountains for an evening ceremony unlike anything else. We will move, we will breathe, we will let go… there might even be a burning of sorts! And yes (!), we will absolutely be getting into that lake, too.

  • Nature embodiment, letting the mountain do what it does

  • Release ceremony, think journaling and fire (!)

  • Lake dip / swim, the ultimate reset. Cold, clear, alive.

SUMMER BREAK — back in September

Join Eliane at Lough Bray in the Dublin Mountains for a summer solstice ceremony for mamas. Meditation, release ritual, lake dip and the longest dusk of the year.

Please read notes below for info on suitability for children, dogs, buggies and pregnant mamas before you book - thank you!

Why Solstice? Why Now?

The solstice is a threshold.

The peak of light and the turning point. After tonight, the days begin to shorten again. And there is something ancient and wise about marking that. About pausing at the height of the year and asking ourselves: What do I want to carry forward, and what am I finally ready to put down?

As mothers, we all carry A LOT. This is your invitation to set some of it on fire. Watch your mental load turn to ash. How is that for a re-set?

What to Bring

  • Swimwear and a towel (you are doing this!)

  • Warm layers for after the dip, the dusk gets chilly even in June

  • A journal or notebook for release ceremony (extras available on the night)

  • An outdoor pillow or small mat if you have one (spares available on the night)

  • Please Read Before Booking (on kids, dogs, …)»

Can't wait to meet you at the lake, mama.

With love (and a dryrobe!) <3
